After building and working on Fredo together with this community, we have decided to wind down the service. Thank you for using it, suggesting ideas, reporting issues and helping make it a more useful assistant.
We want to give you time to prepare, save the information you need and choose how to continue. This page brings together the closure date, options for moving forward, export instructions and answers to common questions. We will update it as more details are confirmed.
Service end date: 31 December 2026.
Fredo will stop providing its service to users on 31 December 2026. We recommend starting to prepare for a move now and saving your information and setting up your chosen alternative before closure.
We suggest taking a look at Instinct. Based on our experience with it, we believe it may be a suitable option for some of the things you used Fredo for.
This is only a recommendation. You do not have to move to Instinct. You can choose any personal assistant, reminder app or other tool that suits you. You can also save your information without sharing it with another service.
Fredo is not affiliated with Instinct. Our recommendation is not a partnership or a guarantee that another service will provide every Fredo feature. Availability, terms, pricing and capabilities may change.
Joining currently requires an invitation link from someone who uses the service. Invitation links are shared in the Fredo Power Users group, so check there for an available link.
If you join and can share invitations of your own, we would appreciate you posting a sharing link in the group to help other users join. We cannot guarantee that a link will be available or that every request to join will be accepted.
